Position: After School Part-Time Enrichment Program, Associate(s)
Qualifications: *Associates Degree or equivalent
*Program provision experience preferred or prior experience in an educational setting
Reports To: *After School Improvement Coordinator
Job Goal: *Provide afterschool enrichment activities for enrolled students. Examples of enrichment activities include: theatre, music, art, chess, sports, crafts, gardening, cooking, cultural exploration, etc. Applicant will be responsible for hosting a class of 10-15 students and facilitate either a specific learning activity or facilitate an enrichment activity.
Essential Functions and *Follow all rules, policies and procedures of Ruidoso Municipal School District along with state Responsibilities and federal regulations, including the SIG grant parameters.
*Provide student with activities that complement the academic improvement efforts with the comprehensive after school enrichment program.
*Help provide a safe and healthy learning environment at all times.
*Utilize positive strategies to support the social and emotional development of all the students.
*Assist and monitor students and staff before, during and after expected program hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 2:30-4:30pm
Knowledge, Skills, * Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Abilities * Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all ages
Contract Period: 2018-19 school year
Start Date: As soon as practicable
Salary: $25.63 per hour
Duration: 2-3 days a week; Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday approximately 4-7 hours per week
