* Monitor Hallways/Campus both for security and behavior purposes.
* Patrol (foot) and monitor school property for unauthorized persons. If needed, redirect or escort from property.
* Monitor school grounds and school entrances to ensure only authorized personnel and authorized visitors access the school; ensure all guests follow visitor protocol and politely triage visitor requests.
* Actively participate in professional development training to ensure ongoing growth and to advance skills.
* Build positive and professional relationships with students and leverage those relationships to establish and maintain productive and safe learning environments and common areas in the building.
* Exercise dignity and respect when interacting with students at all times.
* Lead efforts to de-escalate inappropriate student behaviors and assist students with maximizing their time on task in classrooms.
* Serve as a primary participant in emergency response during crises, including but not limited to fire and active shooter incidents.
* Report unusual activity or suspicions of safety issues to the administration in a timely fashion.
* Complete proper documentation related to incident reports and misconduct reports.
* Perform various duties as assigned (lunch, before school, after school).
* Manage parking - Collect and process parking applications, issue-parking permits, issue early release permits, etc.
* Fulfill duties assigned related to Hall Sweeps and searches.
* Assist administration as needed - witness searches, monitor waiting students, etc.
* Supervise ISS or detention as assigned.
* Set up for home games.
* Other duties as assigned.
